By signing up to our website and purchasing products from Peppermint Events Pty Ltd t/a as Mint Food @ Home, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of sale, which apply to all transactions on www.mintfoodathome.co.za. This means we need the following information:

  • Your email address allowing us to communicate with you and confirm all orders and queries. We may also advise of any changes or additions to our product range and/or delivery service.

  • Your address: including the postcode and any addresses associated with payment methods you may use.

  • Your contact number: to allow us to message/call with queries or promotions we are running at certain times.

Peppermint Events Pty Ltd only sells goods on our website to the end user and they should not, in any way, be resold without our prior written consent. We will confirm your order when placed through the website and then again by email. Payment will be made through our chosen payment supplier and we do not hold any payment details for you,  or from any previous orders. It is your responsibility to keep your password secure and your details correct to ensure successful ordering and delivery process.

The price of goods charged shall be as quoted on the website at the time you confirm your order with us. Your payment method chosen shall only be charged for items delivered. Due to differing product promotions, from time to time, the prices displayed on the website may vary. All our product prices include VAT and our VAT Registration Number is 4890278106. Our minimum order level is R400 to receive free delivery to areas quoted on the website. We will accept delivery and orders  to other areas. Please contact us at info@mintfoodathome.co.za for bespoke order requests, for minimum order requirements and delivery charges.

 

Our product promotions are available to all when on offer. You will receive a voucher code for these offers promoted via email or SMS. if you opt in to correspondence via email and mobile. Please check the offer expiry dates if relevant. Peppermint Events Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse a sale if it feels that fraud has occurred. If a voucher code takes the order below the minimum order value threshold then additional items must be added to the basket to reach the minimum spend for free delivery.

For home delivery, a time slot will be confirmed to you when the order is ready to be dispatched. Special instructions will be followed, but please make sure that there is someone at home to accept the delivery or that you contact us to change any delivery within 24 hours. Should we be unable to deliver your order, it will be returned to the store. You will be contacted by the office to rearrange when we will next deliver in your area. an additional charge of R35 will be levied for any re-delivery in the Northern Suburbs and Winelands and R60 for Southern Suburbs.

If you are a VIP account holder requesting collection, We will have your order ready for you at the agreed time. Our opening hours are 8am- 4pm Monday to Friday. If you want someone to collect on your behalf then we must receive confirmation of your name to confirm the collection with a printed copy or screen confirmation of the order.

If you are unsatisfied with any of the items in your order, or any part of the delivery service from Peppermint Events Pty Ltd t/a Mint Food@Home please contact us as soon as possible - either by emailing us via the Contact Us page on the website or by telephoning 078 540 8649. If you would like to make a comment or recommendation regarding our food, then please visit the Contact Us page of the website and complete the comments box by starting with "Testimonial Time". If we have sent you an incorrect item, please notify us as soon as possible or complete a form with the delivery driver stating whether you would like a replacement or credit for your account. We will send you the correct item as soon as possible or credit the value on your next order. As with our honest food, we operate an honest policy and will strive to deliver quality at all times as well as take on board feedback to ensure we rectify any errors that may have occurred or put into play any customer suggestions to make our product and service even better. 

Should you wish to delete your account at any stage please email us and we will action this for you.

Peppermint Events Pty Ltd is the company name and a number of businesses trade under this Pty business, of which one is Mint Food @ Home.  

In using our services, we have to request your data with your consent when you sign up online. We also need your data to comply with our delivery and service needs and we may use this data to offer you personalized promotions and offers based on your order history and any marketing surveys we carry out from time to time. We will collect your data through our communications with you such as phone, email, SMS and WhatsApp as well as when you place orders with us or redeem voucher codes. This data may include delivery /billing address, email, phone number(s) IP address, information gathered by cookies in your web browser and any interaction made whilst visiting our website. When you place an order we do not hold your details. Your payment details are collected via a secure payment provider, Peach Payments, who use secure online capture and processing methods. However if you choose not to share your data with us, we may not be able to provide some services you’ve asked for. The security of your data is very important to us and we will not share your data with any other party unless in agreement with you first, for example entering a competition with a trusted third party company. From time to time your data maybe visible to certain companies such as Website Management, social media platforms and Hosting companies, however we will not be able to use your data for any other purpose than Mint Food @ Home or associated companies under Peppermint Events Pty Ltd without your agreement. Payment Methods

Payments can be made by  visa/mastercard , EFT Secure,  Masterpass  and ozow via the secure payment system working to protect online transactions with Peach Payments. If ordering via phone or WhatsApp, payment can be made by EFT and/or snapscan with proof of payment required.

Competitions

Competitions are open to all who reside within our delivery areas. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter. By entering competitions, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by our terms and conditions. Entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Facebook, Instagram and/or our email newsletters. Only one entry will be accepted per person. The entrant must be following us on Facebook and Instagram  in order to enter. Closing date for entry will be clearly stated in the competition communications. After this date no further entries will be permitted. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of occurrences outside of our control.

Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible. We are not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with competitions. The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

The Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received notified by email and/or Facebook and/or Instagram within 5 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The winner will be notified when and where the prize can be collected / delivered. Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the competitions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with our terms And will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram  or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Peppermint Events Pty and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
